Biography

I am a Ph.D. candidate at the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur under the esteemed guidance of Prof. Sudip Misra. My research focuses on collaborative edge intelligence for IoT healthcare, including federated learning, on-device machine learning, and causal analysis of health events.

I work on building practical systems that use smartphones, wearables, and other resource-constrained devices for health monitoring, ranging from lung health screening tools to stress and well-being applications for students. I have a vision of making AI-driven healthcare support more accessible and usable in everyday settings.

I also teach and mentor interns and students at IIT Kharagpur as a CEP lecturer and teaching assistant for core computer science and emerging technology courses. My long-term goal is to design deployment-ready AI systems that fit naturally into real-world healthcare systems.

Reflections

Little Things
by Julia Abigail Fletcher Carney (1845)
Little drops of water, Little grains of sand, Make the mighty ocean And the pleasant land. So the little moments, Humble though they be, Make the mighty ages Of Eternity. So the little errors Lead the soul away From the paths of virtue Far in sin to stray. Little deeds of kindness, Little words of love, Help to make earth happy Like the Heaven above.
